MONTHLY MEETING MINUTES
Present at meeting: Rick Walker, Dicksie Walker, Steve Lowe, John Springer, Bob Pryor, John Owens, and Lynn Easley.
Call to Order by Rick Walker.
Present Minutes from last meeting
The minutes were presented and approved. Motion to accept by Steve Lowe, seconded by John Owens.
Financial Report:
Receipts for the year are $1950.00 for all current year dues except $300.00 from 2012.
Disbursements for the year are $823.66 and are comprised of:
A) $766.66 for Social Events.
B) $57.00 Post Office Box Rent
Cash balance of 19,641.77 includes $14,087.50 in a capital reserve fund.
Currently have nine dues paying members.
Addendum: Currently have 12 dues paying members and $500.00 more receipts.
Motion by John Owens to accept the financial report. Second by Bob Pryor. Approved.
Old Business:
Emerald Bay Marina Updates
Barry Magnas and his lawyer will be flying in the following week to work out the details with Rick Walker on acquiring Emerald Bay Marina properties here.

Steve Lowe reported that there were no local numbers available for use with Magic Jack, but hopes to be able to free up one in the near future.
New Business:
Social Events
Race is scheduled for June 15th , with an informal Coyote Sams gathering on June 21. A dry land social event is scheduled for the evening of July 4th to coincide with the fireworks. Burgers and dogs and apple pie are on the menu and a possible aboard Paul Lohr's “Big Bertha” trawler.
Additional social events are Coyote Sams on July 19th and August 16th and a sailboat race and dry land social event afterwards on September 14th.
Plaque
Steve Lowe suggested a plaque for Monty from the Upper Neches River Authority for all the work and time he put in helping us getting past our marina issues.
