Present Minutes from last meeting
The June 11, 2011 minutes were submitted for review

Financial Report:
John Springer presented the financial report. We have taken in $4,375.00 and our
disbursements for the year have been $1,579.94. The club currently has $15,665.00 in
cash of which $11,887.00 is in the capitol improvement fund.
Motion to accept by: Steve Lowe
Seconded by: John Owens
All in favor.
New Business
There are two bills currently due. One is for the club's liability insurance and the other is for
the Chamber of Commerce membership.
There was a lengthy discussion on the subject of insurance. Steve stated that based on earlier
discussions with Richard Klein we have a moral obligation to maintain insurance as originally
agreed to with Mr. Klein. Bob stated that there is poor company support for the marina from
California. Warren feels that the docks are the marina's responsibility should something
happen. Bob suggested we not renew and just see if the marina company contacts us about it.
After much more discussion and motion was made by John Owens to not renew the policy.
This was seconded by Bob Pryor. The motion passed with 6 for and Steve Lowe, opposed.
There was a short discussion about the Chamber of Commerce and it was decided to not
continue with this.
Corporate Status
Steve has researched into reinstating the corporate status and it is very easy. After
a short discussion Warren made the motion to follow through with the
reinstatement. Seconded by Steve. All approved.
Races
Jim stated that it is pretty obvious that there will be no more races this year due to the
lake level.
There was a discussion about the other boating events for the year and it was decided that all
boating events for the rest of the year be canceled and the date or October 22 will become some type
of social event. Most likely it will be a Halloween party.
Tonight is the hamburger cook out.
